Green House Gases And Their Effect

Our earth’s surface is covered by a layer of atmosphere which is composed of different gases like the oxygen, nitrogen, ozone and many others. There are certain other gases which are produced by different human activities like burning of fossil fuels, deforestation etc., which generates certain gases called the greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, methane etc., which gets incorporated in the atmosphere. The short wave radiations from the Sun can cross the atmosphere and reach the earth’s surface where it gets absorbed and some gets reflected, which tries to escape the earth’s surface but gets trapped by the huge concentration of green house gases and thus the global temperature increases.
